Sony's Smart call handling feature ported to Xperia Z1/Z1 Compact handsets

One of the Xperia Z2's feature is Smart call handling, which allows users to answer/reject calls via motion gestures. To answer the call just lift up the phone to your ears, to reject just shake the device. Well if you already own the Z1/Z1 Compact with root permissions then you can try out this feature. Reports says that the call answering is working, but it needs a harder shake to reject the call.

If you can't wait to try the function, download the files here and here (mirrors here and here), then flash the first file (Intelli_signed.zip) on your device in recovery. Next step install the second file (Gesture.2.apk) and enable it.

So there you have it. The next step is of course test the gesture function via making miss-calls to your phone. We hope you enjoy the function!

Note: The app works really well on Xperia Z1 and Z1 Compact, but is not working on Xperia Z handsets. It is not working on non-rooted Xperia Z1 handsets too. No confirmation on the Z Ultra, though, but it should work because the Z Ultra uses the same firmware as the Xperia Z1/Z1 Compact.
