Sony showcases SmartEyeglass prototype on MWC

At MWC 2014 tradeshow Sony also showcase the prototype version of SmartEyeglass smart eye-glass accessory; a direct competitor to Google Glass. It can show you the directions to your check-in desk in airport, getting real-time scores when you watch football games, as well as reading text messages, get a notification of missed phone call, or capture a photo with its built-in camera.
But it's only a prototype for now. You can only control the virtual display via the wired hand-held controller. When it's ready, Sony will out the SDK for the eyeglass (the SDK framework is similar to those found in the SmartWatch 2). The prototype requires an Android phone, and the interaction between the phone and the eyeglass will be done via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
