Sony ends some old Xperia smartphones support

Do you still using your old Sony Xperia smartphone(s)? If so, then you will be sad hearing this news.

Today Sony Mobile has giving a statement to its customers who is still using their old phones, as some older Xperia models are not supported anymore by Sony.
Sony has end its supports to some older models because the model has leaving its 18 months life-cycle; from phone distribution-ing to discontinuation.

If you are one of this phone's user, you must leave your phone if you want other official updates by Sony, or, if you are naughty enough, root and flash some custom ROMs that are available on the internet.

  • Sony Xperia P
  • Sony Xperia U
  • Sony Xperia sola
  • Sony Xperia ion
  • Sony Xperia go
  • Sony Xperia acro S
  • Sony Xperia miro
  • Sony Xperia tipo/tipo dual
  • Sony Xperia SL
  • Sony Xperia J
The not-very famous Xperia neo L isn't included in this list, but this doesn't mean the neo L is still supported.

If you visit the software page of above's phones, you will notice that there is a "Latest & final version" for the recent Android version that received on the listed-above's phones. Here's an example screenshot in the Xperia S software page:
